1. Frédéric Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu in C♯ minor, Op. posth. 66, WN 46.

Regarded as one of the most famous of Chopin’s work, Fantaisie Impromptu is composed in C# minor, a key which evokes grief and lamentation. The piece’s unusual 4 against 3 polyrhythms are a main factor of difficulty in which makes the piece an advanced repertoire.

2. Franz Liszt’s Liebestraum No. 3

One mustn’t forget that Liebestraum is the third movement of the Notturno set that Lizst composed, not stand-alone. Originally conceived as a song, the flowing melodies create an atmosphere that develops a story with tenderness.
