On 12th March, Steinway Gallery Melbourne welcomed guests for a vibrant Lunar New Year Talent Concert, bringing together families, music lovers, and talented young performers for an evening of celebration and musical artistry.
Held within the elegant surroundings of our Melbourne gallery, the concert featured a selection of 14 outstanding performers chosen through our concert auditions. The program showcased a wonderful blend of expressive classical piano repertoire and cherished Chinese melodies, all performed on the magnificent Steinway & Sons Model D-274.


OPENING REMARKS
The evening began with a warm welcome to guests, families, and performers by Mark O’Connor, CEO of Steinway Galleries Australia. His opening remarks set a welcoming tone for the celebration, as the audience gathered to mark the Lunar New Year through music and community.
The intimate gallery setting created a wonderful concert atmosphere, allowing the audience to experience the beauty and expressive range of the Steinway & Sons Model D-274 as each performer shared their musical interpretation.
