Steinway Gallery Sydney welcomed the Lunar New Year with a vibrant celebration on the 6th of March, bringing together music lovers, families, and young musicians for a memorable evening of artistry and cultural celebration.
Held in the elegant setting of our Sydney gallery, the concert featured a selection of talented performers chosen through our concert auditions. Each musician brought their own unique voice to the stage, presenting a program that beautifully combined cherished Chinese melodies with dazzling classical masterworks on the magnificent Steinway & Sons Model B-211.
OPENING REMARKS
The evening began with a warm welcome from Mark O’Connor, CEO of Steinway Galleries Australia, who greeted guests, families, and performers gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the audience prepared for a night of inspiring music and festive spirit.
MUSICAL HIGHLIGHTS
The evening’s program showcased 13 remarkable musicians selected through our concert auditions, each bringing their own artistry and musical personality to the stage. Performing on the Steinway & Sons Model B-211, the performers presented a vibrant program that wove together the elegance of the classical piano repertoire with the beauty of beloved Chinese melodies.
