Steinway Galleries Australia Shines at the 2024 Steinway Asia Pacific Dealer Meeting

In April, the 2024 Steinway Asia Pacific Dealer Meeting convened successfully in Shanghai. The conference brought together the Steinway dealerships from the East Asia Pacific with Steinway Galleries Australia proudly being awarded the “Best Performance Award” 2023.

The meeting also unveiled three exquisite Steinway Noé limited edition pianos and launched the groundbreaking Steinway SPIRIOCAST technology to the Asia-Pacific dealers.

Mark O’Connor, CEO of Steinway Galleries Australia, attended the meeting and was also asked to perform on the piano with vocals at the Dealer Meeting Gala Dinner.

The most exciting moment of the meeting occurred when Steinway Galleries Australia received the prestigious accolade for “Best Overall Performance in South East Asia Pacific for 2023” and “Best Internet Leads Sales in South East Asia Pacific for 2023”.

These remarkable achievements speak volumes about the dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment of the Australian team. The success of Steinway Galleries Australia underscores the collaborative efforts of its management team. It showcases their resilience, leadership, and vision over the years.

SpirioCast Dealers Launch

Steinway Gallery Melbourne and Sydney were thrilled to participate in the Steinway Asia Pacific SpirioCast Dealers Launch, alongside 44 Steinway dealers from across the Asia Pacific region. This event marked a significant milestone. It was the first introduction of the Steinway & Sons SPIRIOCAST technology to dealers in the Asia Pacific region.

The event first featured performances by Steinway Artists Rachel Cheung and Kang Liu at Steinway Shanghai. These performances were broadcasted live and shared with the 45 Steinway & Sons dealers in the Asia-Pacific region through SPIRIOCAST technology.  As one of the dealers, Steinway Gallery Melbourne and Sydney were excited to experience a unique live musical performance. Attendees viewed the performance on a TV screen connected to the Spirio|r piano, with both video and audio perfectly synchronized.

The highlight of the program was the collaborative performance through SPIRIOCAST. Steinway Young Artist Kang Liu performed the bass of Franz Schubert’s Military Marches on Spirio|r piano at Steinway Shanghai. The performance was seamlessly synchronized with 45 Steinway dealers both visually and auditorily.  In the meantime, Australian young pianists Jack Brunialti-Sykes and Catherine Li at Steinway Gallery Melbourne and Sydney complemented the performance by playing the treble. This created a delightful duet brought to life by SPIRIOCAST.

The impressive feature of SPIRIOCAST has truly revolutionized the possibilities for music enthusiasts. It has turned the once impossible into a tangible reality.
