30 November 2023, Sanctuary Cove — The Steinway Piano Showroom at Sanctuary Cove recently hosted a festive Christmas celebration. The event provided a warm and welcoming setting for guests to celebrate the holiday season and their shared appreciation for Steinway & Sons pianos.
Pianist Misato Shimomukai and the Steinway Spirio filled the showroom with music throughout the night. Steinway technician Jason Boyd, furthermore, shared insights about the Spirio’s sophisticated and unparalleled technology as the world’s finest high-resolution player piano. His demonstration showcased the instrument’s ability to fully and accurately capture the performances of the world’s best pianists—indistinguishable from a live performance.
With their deepened appreciation for the Steinway Spirio, guests had the opportunity to directly engage with it. They explored its extensive library, including a diverse range of music. With just the touch of an iPad, guests took turns interacting with the Spirio, fully experiencing the breadth and depth of its capabilities. Their selections varied, ranging from traditional Christmas carols to recordings by renowned Steinway Artists like Lang Lang and Yuja Wang.
This event truly was an intimate Christmas celebration to remember. The evening ended with guests expressing joy and gratitude for the gathering. In its relaxed and sociable atmosphere, everyone had the chance to fully enjoy food, drinks, and conversation amidst continuous appreciation of music and Steinway.
