On August 31st, Steinway Gallery Sydney was abuzz with excitement as 50 guests gathered for an unforgettable concert. The evening featured young pianist Emma Rose Koeswandy, the Winner of the 2024 Steinway National Online Piano Competition Management’s Choice Award.
At just 13 years of age, Emma is a distinguished student in the Rising Star program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she studies piano under Natalia Ricci and violin at the premier level. She has been honored with the Kathleen Holmes McCrea Pianoforte and Violin Scholarships and has achieved her AmusA for both instruments.
Emma’s performance at Steinway Gallery Sydney was nothing short of extraordinary. She delighted the audience with a program that featured timeless pieces by Bach, Haydn, Chopin, Granados, and Liszt. Performing on a Steinway & Sons Model B-211, Emma’s deep connection to the music and her heartfelt expression left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance, making the evening an unforgettable experience.
