To celebrate Steinway Spirio‘s addition of Phil Collins tracks to its music library, Steinway Gallery Melbourne hosted a special tribute event. This exclusive evening brought music lovers together to appreciate Phil Collins’ iconic songs.
The event opened with a stunning performance by Australian pianist Amy Rita, who played the Steinway & Sons grand piano. Her expressive playing set a wonderful atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Following Amy Rita’s performance, Mark O’Connor, CEO of Steinway Galleries Australia, stepped up to deliver his renditions of Phil Collins’ classics, seamlessly continuing the evening’s musical journey. His interpretations, combined with the rich tones of the Steinway & Sons grand piano, emphasised the depth and emotion of Collins’ music.
Guests enjoyed champagne, drinks, and a selection of light snacks, creating a comfortable and sociable environment. The gallery was filled with conversations and laughter, with attendees clearly enjoying the live music and the friendly setting. The event was a true celebration of music, featuring engaging performances in a warm atmosphere alongside the elegance of the Steinway & Sons grand piano.
