Reviving the Romantic Masters: A Spirio Afternoon at Steinway Gallery Sydney

27 May 2023, Sydney — Steinway Gallery Sydney hosted a Steinway Spirio event titled ‘Romantic Virtuosos on the Steinway Spirio’. It presented a unique opportunity to experience the timeless works of three of the romantic era’s most esteemed composers: Johannes Brahms, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Sergei Rachmaninoff. Their select compositions were brought to life on the Steinway O-180 Spirio.

The Steinway Spirio, known as one of the world’s finest high resolution player piano, played back the pieces exactly as performed by internationally acclaimed pianists, including Rachmaninoff himself. As a result, the audience experienced the intricacies and subtleties that these world-renowned pianists imbued in their performances, creating an intimate connection between the listener and the composer.
