Steinway Galleries Australia sponsored a Steinway & Sons Model B-211 Spirio grand piano for this year’s 2022 Schools Spectacular, one of the biggest performing arts events in Australia. The show, under the theme “Creating the Magic”, was held at the Qudos Bank Arena through a weekend on 26 and 27 November 2022. It gathered 4700 participating students from 333 schools across New South Wales.
As their remarkable annual project since 1984, the Arts Unit of the NSW Department of Education recognises that the Schools Spectacular’s scope and purpose remains unrivalled. “The Schools Spectacular is a world-class arena production and one of the most significant annual events of its calibre anywhere in Australia and arguably the world. From its ability to produce national and international stars to its role in promoting inclusiveness and reconciliation, the Schools Spectacular has no peer.”
