Steinway Galleries Australia extends our heartfelt thanks to all participants in the 2025 National Online Piano Competition, and to everyone who took the time to cast their vote.
With 38 talented performers and a total of 2,341 unique votes, this year’s competition has been a tremendous success. The standard of performance was exceptionally high, making the selection process for the Management’s Choice Award particularly challenging. After careful deliberation, our management team is pleased to announce William Cheah as the recipient of this prestigious award.
We are also excited to reveal the winner of the People’s Choice Award, determined by public SMS voting. With an impressive 563 votes, Alexander Yuze Lin has been named this year’s winner for his captivating performance of F. Chopin’s Etude in F minor, Op. 25 No. 2 “The Bee”. Congratulations, Alexander!
We thank all performers for their dedication and artistry, and extend our gratitude to everyone who supported the competition. We look forward to seeing you again in next year’s event.
