On 21st July, the results of the piano selection were announced. Five out of the six finalists had chosen to perform on the Steinway & Sons piano, while the remaining finalist had opted for the Shigeru Kawai. The Sydney International Piano Competition is renowned as one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world.
